Sync Inc Ltd
Privacy Policy
Last updated 16 August 2026
This policy covers Sync Inc Ltd as a company — how we handle payments, billing records and direct contact with you. Each of our products handles its own data and has its own policy, linked at the bottom of this page.
Which policy applies to you? If you are using one of our products, read that product's policy — it describes the data the product itself collects. This page describes what Sync Inc Ltd does as the company behind them, which mostly means payments and correspondence.
Who we are
Sync Inc Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, at 82A James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom. For data protection purposes we are the data controller for the processing described on this page.
You can reach us at hello@syncincltd.com about anything in this policy, including any request to exercise the rights set out below.
Payments and billing
Payments for our products are processed by Stripe. When you buy a subscription or licence:
- We never see or store your card details. Card data is collected by Stripe directly and never reaches our servers.
- Stripe provides us with the information we need to run the account — your email address, the last four digits and brand of the card, the country it was issued in, and the status of each payment.
- We keep records of invoices and payments as required by UK tax law, which means for six years after the end of the accounting period they relate to. This applies even if you close your account, because we are legally required to retain them.
Stripe is a processor acting on our behalf and has its own privacy policy governing what it does with your data.
Correspondence
If you email us, we keep the message and our reply so we have a record of what was discussed and can pick up the thread if you write again. We do not use support correspondence for marketing.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data, and never have.
- We do not share it with third parties except the processors we need to run the business — payment processing, email delivery and hosting — each acting on our instructions.
- We do not use your data to train AI models.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, restrict how we use it, or provide it in a portable format. You can also object to processing we carry out on the basis of legitimate interests.
Email hello@syncincltd.com and we will respond within one month. One limit worth stating plainly: we cannot delete billing records we are legally required to keep, so a deletion request will not remove invoices from within the statutory retention period.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Where a change materially affects how we handle your data, we will tell you directly rather than relying on you noticing.
Our products
Each product collects and handles data specific to what it does, and has its own privacy policy:
